Payment Schedule & Pricing
We request the following payment schedule for our trips:
1. Mabrouk Expedition
For each participant CHF 50.-(or € 30.-) at the time of reservation (please see payment options above). The remaining amount should be paid cash upon your arrival in Marrakech, directly to the local Guide.
2. Barraka Expedition
At the time of reservation CHF 600.- per traveller, special event and larger groups require 30% of total trip cost (see payment options above)
30 days prior to departure: the balance
Barraka Expeditions reserved 20 days or less prior to departure date require payment in full upon reserving. If balance is not received GemmeFusion may treat the trip as cancelled. All prices are in CHF, Euro or Pounds. Payments may be made via
Paypal, bank wire transfer, by post office account or cash.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you have to cancel your trip, we must be notified in writing. All monies will be refunded in full less the following cancellation charges, based on the date of our receipt of your written cancellation:
ϖMore than 90 days prior to departure: 15% of total cost
ϖ31 to 89 days prior to departure: 25% of total cost
ϖ15 to 29 days prior to departure: 50% of total cost
ϖLess than 14 days: no refund
Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend that all of our travellers purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance can protect you against baggage loss, missed connections, medical emergency, including evacuation costs, trip cancellation, and trip interruption. Families travelling together, in particular, can benefit from traveller’s insurance, due to the high investment in the trip and the increased risk of one person’s cancelled.
Documentation
It is the responsibility of the traveller to obtain and carry documentation of citizenship, such as a passport, and any visa if required
Limitation of Liability
You acknowledge that you have voluntarily applied to participate in the trip you have chosen. You understand hereby acknowledge that there are inherent and other risks involved in travel and you freely and voluntarily assume those risks. There risks include, but are not limited to: forces of nature, including but not limited to weather, civil unrest, terrorism, criminal activity, physical exertion for which you are not prepared, high altitude, any and all risks associated with food and impure water, encounter with animals, consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances, accident or illness without rapid access to medical supplies or services; the adequacy of medical attention once provided; lost or misplaced luggage; transportation failures, roads, trails, vehicles, or other means of conveyance, or hotels which are not operated or maintained at standards, or negligence (but not wilful or fraudulent conduct) on the part of GemmeFusion, Pascale Dumas or others. You understand that changes to the planned itinerary may occur as a result of local circumstances and events. You accept changes to the amenities, route, type of transport, accommodation, and schedule that may be necessitated by these local circumstances and events, including but not limited to mechanical breakdown, strikes, weather, or other unforeseen problems. You agree to re responsible for your own welfare, and accept any and all risks of delay unanticipated events, illness, injury, emotional trauma, or death.
You understand and acknowledge that the service that GemmeFusion, Pascale Dumas and its partners provide in connection with its itineraries, including local transportation, hotel accommodations, another services are purchased from various independent suppliers. You understand that GemmeFusion Pascale Dumas will not be liable for any act or omission of any independent supplier or any unrelated third party. You expressly agree that GemmeFusion and Pascale Dumas shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury, death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual engages in providing these services. Each of these passenger conveyance companies, tour companies, hotels, restaurants, etc... is subject to the laws of the country where the service is provided.
You understand that GemmeFusion, Pascale Dumas reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and my use any such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
Traveller’s Responsibility
Travellers are responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to their abilities, communicating any special need to GemmeFusion, Pascale Dumas prior to commencement of the trip, and for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. Unless otherwise specified in the itinerary, travellers are responsible to bringing the appropriate clothing and equipment for their trip. By forwarding the deposit and signed booking form and Terms & Conditions, the travellers certifies that he/she does not have any physical or other condition of disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other travellers.
Please note that if a trip must be extended or an itinerary modified due to weather, road conditions, lack of transportation, political or civil disputes, medical emergency, or other causes beyond our control, the associated costs including any non-recoverable costs are not included in the trip rates or refunds. In such circumstances, it is the traveller’s responsibility to pay directly for actual extra costs in the field (e.g. food, transport, accommodations).
It is the traveller’s responsibility to make sure that all flights coincide with the trip itinerary. GemmeFusion, Pascale Dumas is not responsible for any forfeiture that results due to your inability to obtain airline ticket nor is GemmeFuson, Pascale Dumas responsible for any airline penalties or fees resulting from changes or trip cancellation once tickets have been issued.
